Last weekend Ohmwork held concerts at Fru Lundgreen in Trondheim and Pokalen in Oslo. Great audience - especially in Oslo, and great fun playing the southern parts of Norway. It's been 1 1/2 month since the release of 'Mother City'. Apart from Ohmwork's stellar performance at Buktafestivalen it has been a slow summer with no activity. But, there have been coming in some great reviews. From both The Wilhelmsens and Scream Magazine Ohmwork received nothing but praise. 5 out of 6 from both! Ohmwork played in front if a packed crowd at Little Henrik stage Thursday evening. A supportive audience made the band and crowd firing off each other. Ohmwork went into Lydproduksjon (Tromso) on May 1st with Yngvar Mehus at the helm. The band recorded four tracks soon to be released as an EP. The tracks were "Mother City", "Shadow Hunters", "Devils Dance" and a fourth one - currently without a title. This specific track was rehearsed the day before it got recorded! One thing is for certain: This EP will kick some serious ass! Released date is not set yet, but it will be released later this month or sometime in June. #Lydpro

Torbjørn has ended his tenure with Ohmwork. Things didn't seem to be what everyone involved had hoped for. After two and a half months Torbjørn's out, and Helge's in, again! He gladly accepted our offer! Lately it's been very clear for all of us that this is the best solution. Helge seems to be the only man on Earth for this job! Helge Nyrud is no longer in Ohmwork. Two months ago he more or less shocked us with the news that he was moving to Oslo (family related reasons). A long distance collaboration was not an option for neither of us, therefore we had to split up. No drama. We wish him all the best! We are now very happy to announce Torbjørn Andersen as our new bassist. He's a seasoned musician who's over the years been playing in different kinds of rock bands from the Tromso scene.
